  Watchtower Bible and Tract Society WILL be dropped... I believe they'll eventually have to distance themselves from the 'WATCHTOWER', they already started by substituting

  I agree your idea Marvster, Little by little they are making changes and I believe they are setting the groundwork for making the change in 1914. Just not sure yet how they will pull it.

  but it's been said to me by those who are very much in, that the large assemblies are cancelled here in Australia.

  Wow, I didn't know that. That is a good thing. Before, the WT prided in saying that they would never cancel the great spiritual feast of food the conventions provided.

  FayeDunaway I didn't know you had lost your family. So I tell you what, Let's just sit back with some popcorn and watch it all come down and see our families come back to us.

  • Regional Conventions will get smaller and be held in JW owned properties

  • More appeals to emotions, practical advice from the Bible less emphasis on prophecy

  • 144,000 revealed to be a figurative number

Hundreds of new ex-jw YouTube Videos, books, blogs, Vlogs and. recovery sites. Its been over 100 years since Jesus started ruling, and every month some nasty skeleton falls out of the Watchtower closet.
  

  What will the Watchtower look like in 30 years?

  Will there still be a Governing Body?

  Will they finally drop 1914?

  Will the blood doctrine finally be dropped?

  Will disfellowshipping be dropped?

  Will there still be Circuit Overseers, Elders, Pioneers?

  Will there still be Judicial Committees?

  Will they still have conventions 3 times a year?

  How many meetings will they have a week?

  Will they still go door to door preaching?

  Will they drop the name; “Watchtower Bible and Tract Society?”

  How many members will they have worldwide?

  Can you imagine in the year 2050 going door to door and preaching;

  “Hello, we here this morning announcing Jehovah’s Kingdom that started ruling in the year 1914”

  Wife Equates Having A Good Marriage With Being "Spiritual"

  so i've noticed lately that my wife seems to think that in order to have a good marriage both people must be "spiritual".

  she thinks being close as a family is all about family worship night, field service and praying together.

  i know where these ideas are coming from but it is very hard to combat them.

  Show her the Bible and the God she worships-Jehovah- doesn’t teach her idea.

  For example Esther was a spiritual Believer and worshiper of Jehovah and King Ahasuerus was not a worshiper of Jehovah.

  Yet what the Bible record say.

  (Esther 2:17) . . .And the king came to love Esther more than all the other women, so that she gained more favor and loving-kindness before him than all the other virgins.

  And he proceeded to put the royal headdress upon her head and make her queen . . .

  I'm sorry, I am out of the loop here.

  This was the time when they came up with the book of Revelation I believe in the 80s. It was a big deal back then. Then we studied the book for about 4 or 5 times. It depicts the situation after the 1000 years reign of JC when many will not like the situation of a paradise earth and rebel.
